We just wanted you to know we love our new table and chairs. They are even better than the pictures. The delivery service was also great. We ordered inside delivery and the driver couldn't have been more professional and easy to work with. He did everything, showed us how the self storage worked for the leaves of the table and had us try it out to make sure we understood. He was friendly and took all of the packing material with him and made sure everything was cleaned up. It has been a real pleasure working with you.

I just wanted to let you know how absolutely thrilled we are with our new dining set. We are blown away by the standard of the workmanship and how great it looks in our dining room. The wood and stain we eventually chose blends in very well too with our decor and the other furniture we have in the room. We were a little nervous about this, as seeing it on a small sample is not really like seeing the whole thing, but it worked out so well.
Peter, the delivery guy, did and excellent job too. He had packed the furniture for shipment in his truck so well and you could tell he really cared about making sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase and the delivery process. He was a pleasure to deal with.
We are completely satisfied with our purchase and look forward to hosting many dinner parties around it in the coming years!

Please note that this item is too large for UPS or FedEx and will be delivered by common carrier motor freight, such as Roadway or Conway. When furniture is delivered by truck freight, the shipper will be in touch with you to arrange a date and time for delivery. We offer several options for motor freight delivery.
1. Standard Curbside Delivery.
This option is the least costly and is most often selected by our customers. If you select this delivery option, it will be your responsibility to move the piece from the rear of the truck. Therefore, you will need to make accommodations to have someone on hand to assist the driver with unloading. Most drivers are nice and, for a small gratuity, will help with the unloading. The driver can open the pallet on the truck so that the pieces can be taken off individually which will be much more manageable. Please note that the driver is an employee of the trucking company, not of Cabinfield.
Lift gate service, where the furniture will be lowered to the ground with a lift gate and deposited on the curb, is often available for an extra fee (usually about $60). Please call us if you desire this service with our Curbside Delivery. Even with lift gate service however, the driver may leave once the shipment is off the truck and is not required to assist you in bringing the item into your home. It is important that you inspect the item at the time of delivery, and if the item has any damage, or there is any reason for you to be concerned about damage, please write "Product Damaged" clearly on the delivery receipt you are asked to sign and then call us. 2. Indoor Delivery with Set-Up.
For an additional fee, Cabinfield offers an Indoor Delivery and Setup option where your furniture will be delivered by specialized furniture movers who will take care of the entire unloading and set-up process. Please be sure the furniture will fit in the desired room and through all entryways and hallways with a comfortable margin.
This piece of Fine Furniture will be ready in approximately 8 weeks.
Please allow about 2 weeks shipping time. Most Fine Furniture pieces are delivered fully assembled, with the exception of beds & dining tables. You will be contacted before delivery.
There is a 25% deposit and the balance is charged when it ships.
Our furniture is built entirely of hardwoods, with no particle board or veneers. Wood is a natural product and can expand or contract under certain humidity conditions. The gaps between the wood leaves normally expand and contract if the humidity rises above 50% or falls below 35%. In some cases this natural expansion and contraction may actually cause the wood to split. For the first 2 years we will repair your furniture. The only cost to you will be transporting the furniture back and forth to the workshop and the cost of refinishing the wood. After 2 years we do charge a minimal amount for the repair.
Guidelines for preserving your solid wood furniture:
Keep the humidity in your home between 35% - 50%
Keep your solid wood furniture away from direct sources of heating or cooling, such as right next to a window or heating duct. Direct sunlight can also damage the finish.
When cared for properly, your solid wood furniture will retain its timeless beauty and be treasured for generations.
