Returns Policy for all Cabinfield Products (Other than Gazebos)
We want you to be 100 percent satisfied with your Cabinfield purchase. And to make sure you are, our generous return policy allows you to return any Cabinfield purchase within 30 days if you are not completely satisfied. No questions asked. All you need do is contact us first to get a Return Authorization by calling toll-free at 1-866-450-WOOD (9663) or by sending an e-mail to service@cabinfield.com. We do not charge any restocking fees because we are so confident that our products will meet your expectations. We will give you instructions on how to return, at your expense, any new, undamaged piece in its original packaging. We will gladly refund the cost of the item less our original shipping and packaging costs. For products that are offered with free shipping, we will charge 15% of the product price to cover our shipping and handling costs.
If the item was customized by staining (e.g., in the case of many of our lawn furniture or lawn ornament products) or by customized engravings or burnings, we are unable to accept returns unless the item was received damaged. Likewise, if the item was customized in the colors that you requested (e.g., in our Lighthouse Collections when non-standard colors were used at your request), we are unable to accept returns unless the item was received damaged. Of course, if you receive a damaged item, Cabinfield will give you a complete credit or exchange - your preference - when you return it at our expense. To qualify for our damage-return policy, you must contact Cabinfield within one business day of receipt of the item.
Delivery Time - Cabinfield Products (Other than Gazebos)
Most orders for Cabinfield's smaller Amish-handcrafted products are filled shortly after your order - usually within a week to 10 business days. Lawn furniture and lawn ornaments may occasionally (though very rarely) take up to four weeks. Many of our larger handcrafted Home Accents furniture may take as long as 8 weeks before they are ready to ship. If, for some reason, we expect delivery delays on particular pieces, you will be notified before you finalize your order. Sometimes, through circumstances beyond our control, we may not meet our projected delivery schedule. We do our best to fill your order as expeditiously as possible, but we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date.
Payment - Cabinfield Products
We do not charge your credit card until we are ready to ship your order. If you are ordering an item customized by staining, burning, or a personalized message, we will charge your card for a 50% deposit at the time of your order and the balance is charged when we are ready to ship your order. All custom orders, as well as gazebo orders, are charged a 50% deposit at the time of your order and the balance is charged when we are ready to ship your order. All Fine Furniture orders are charged a 25% deposit at the time of your order and the balance is charged when we are ready to ship your order.
Credit Card Verification
Credit card fraud is expensive and results in higher prices for all customers. At Cabinfield, we keep our prices low by working hard to prevent fraudulent credit card use. We may reject a credit card payment if we detect that certain fraud indicators are present for a transaction. We may also refuse to allow a credit card as payment for any reason in our sole discretion. Any rejection of a credit card as a form of payment is not necessarily determined by information provided by the cardholder, and we therefore apologize if we are unable to accept a credit card for your transaction. For larger purchases, Cabinfield will typically e-mail you an authorization agreement to sign and return to us (by toll-free fax or by e-mail) containing the terms outlined on this page. Cabinfield may require this signed agreement for any transaction at our discretion. For international orders, Cabinfield may at its discretion require payment by wire transfer.
Motor Freight Shipping
Many of our fine, handcrafted pieces are small enough to be shipped via UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Shipping our larger indoor and outdoor pieces (including our gazebos), however, is far more complex and at Cabinfield, we carefully select from several options that range from highly specialized furniture movers to common carrier delivery. Because many of our fine, handcrafted pieces are unique, it is not unusual that they are shipped all over the continental United States. Moving large indoor and outdoor furniture is not straightforward and at Cabinfield, we work hard to find the best option that will minimize shipping costs and maximize your convenience. The shipping mode that we will use will depend on the furniture and on the destination. Although we do try to minimize shipping costs, the expenses of packing the furniture for safe delivery and transporting the piece can be expensive.
When furniture is delivered by truck freight, the shipper will be in touch with you to arrange a date and time for delivery. Please note that after such an arrangement has been made, if no one is at home when delivery is attempted, you will probably incur a re-delivery charge from the carrier. If your home is not accessible by delivery truck (e.g., the truck is too large to enter your street), we will transport your furniture to the nearest accessible point. It will be your responsibility to provide pick-up from there and transportation to your home. In some cases, the carrier may impose additional remote-delivery charges. We will notify you prior to shipping if this should apply. If you live in a very remote location and are concerned that such charges may apply, please contact us as soon as possible.
When furniture is delivered by common carrier motor freight, it will be your responsibility to move the piece from the rear of the truck; therefore, you will need to make accommodations to assist the driver with unloading. Most drivers are nice and, for a small gratuity, will help with the unloading. Depending on the piece and your location, indoor furniture will often be delivered blanket-wrapped by specialized furniture movers where possible. Please be sure the furniture will fit in the desired room and through all entrance passages with a comfortable margin. We will not be responsible for any damage that may result from limited maneuverability because of narrow halls, stairwells, doors, etc. If setup in your desired area is not conveniently feasible, we will deliver and setup to the nearest accessible area.
Receipt of Your Handcrafted Furniture
Please inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Your furniture is insured against freight damage. Please do not sign the Bill of Lading until you are reasonably certain that all your furniture has been delivered in good condition. It is your responsibility to notify us immediately if you discover any damage. You must sign the Bill of Lading with a note describing the damage that you see. We will either arrange to have the furniture repaired or will replace it at no cost to you. Please refuse the shipment if it has been significantly damaged during shipping or if the product is different than what you had ordered.
Returns Policy for Cabinfield Gazebos
Gazebos are custom-crafted to your specifications; therefore, they cannot be returned or exchanged.
Should you discover a problem with your gazebo - which we don't anticipate since our Amish craftsmen have been building gazebos for almost two decades - know that we will go out of our way to correct it. Cabinfield will completely cover costs for any defect in materials and workmanship that occurs within one year of purchase. We also warranty the wood and construction of our products against damage from rot or termites - for as long as you live in your home. We reserve the right to remedy any defect that may occur in your product. We will typically do that through our network of qualified independent contractors.
The performance of your wooden product depends on how well you maintain it. Please see our Buyer's Guide for suggested gazebo maintenance. The natural properties of wood include knots, minor cracks, and splinters, as well as the natural expansion and contraction of lumber depending upon temperature, environment, and natural grain traits. Adhering to our maintenance schedule will maximize the performance and beauty of your natural wooden gazebo.

Special Note for Fully Assembled Gazebo Delivery
In some regions, we are able to deliver your gazebo fully assembled (at no extra charge) and offer this as an option. Please note that this requires sufficient clearance as outlined on the page explaining this option. We require a clearance of the width of the product plus an additional two (2) feet and 13 1/2 feet vertical clearance. Normal deliveries run about an hour. Cabinfield will charge an additional $50 per hour after the first hour. If you select fully assembled delivery, yet do not have sufficient clearance or if your site is inaccessible because of rocks, trees, fences, etc., then the driver may unload your gazebo as close to the intended site as these conditions permit. If the driver must return to the shipping facility with your gazebo, you will be charged for the complete round-trip shipping costs. If the site is not accessible and additional equipment, such as a forklift, or additional work is required by the delivery crew (such as maneuvering the gazebo into position manually using pipes), you will be charged $75 per hour for these extra services. Please only select the fully assembled delivery option if you are certain the delivery truck will be able to access your site. Otherwise, please select the build-on-site option. Cabinfield cannot be held responsible for any ruts or yard damage that may occur during normal delivery.

Site Preparation
Please note that site preparation is the responsibility of the homeowner. Please see our Gazebo Buyer's Guide for site preparation recommendations. Also note that in some regions, our affiliated independent contractor, who installs the gazebo, also provides site preparation. You must arrange this special service in advance. If you would like site preparation, please e-mail us. We will ask the local installer to contact you and arrange to give you an estimate. If installation is complicated due to your site not being level, Cabinfield will try to remedy the problem during installation where possible but will charge $75 per hour.
Delivery Time and Order Cancellation - Gazebos
Depending on the time of year, gazebos will take anywhere from four to six weeks to be delivered. We will notify you of the estimated shipping date within two business days of your order. You may cancel gazebo orders within three business days from the date of your order. Sometimes, through circumstances beyond our control, we may not meet our projected delivery schedule. We do our best to fill your order as expeditiously as possible, but we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date.
International Orders
Please note that the purchaser will be responsible for any duties, taxes, or other fees that may apply to the import of goods.
