Vermillian Lighthouse 

Where the Vermilion River and Lake Erie meet towered the original 1877 Vermilion, Ohio lighthouse, awash with Great Lakes lore and a heroic history of safeguarding long-ago ships and boats. This exceptionally crafted replica, replete with carefully constructed details, stands guard to light the way safely in your lawn, near a pond, or to highlight a favorite garden area. Created using durable T1-11 wood and trimmed with arsenic-free, pressure-treated pine, these handsome creations offer a beautiful lighting alternative suitable for any outdoor locale.

Options available include: 

Solar Panels. Don’t want power cords in your yard? Then add a solar light and let the sun power your beacon instead. Replenishing its power during day from the sun and lighting up at nightfall, the solar light is an LED light that is strong enough to light up a pathway and can be seen from far. It can be set to blink or to remain a solid light.

Light bulb beacons. All models are equipped with an 8' cord to power the beacon day and night. All models, except the five-foot size, come with a non-blinking candle bulb; if you prefer a twinkle, add an optional blinker bulb. The five-foot model is equipped with a 40-watt bulb (wattage recommended by manufacturer) and an auto-light sensor which can be removed. All bulbs are standard, so they’re easy to replace when it’s time. Offered only on electric-powered lighthouses.

Rotating head. For more fun, add an optional rotating head, available for four and five foot models. This feature continually spins the beacon 360 degrees for a true representation of an operational lighthouse. The rotating head is powered by an additional three foot cord that comes ready to plug in; it does not take power from a solar panel and is therefore not available along with the solar panel option.

Auto-light sensor. Our five foot model comes standard with an auto-light sensor that turns the beacon on at dusk and off at sunrise. Easy to remove, too, so you can let your light shine all day long, if you’d like. Offered only on electric-powered lighthouses.

Plug In Flasher. When the flasher is plugged into the electrical outlet before the lighthouse is, the flasher causes the lighthouse to turn on and off constantly, creating a flashing effect. Offered only on electric-powered lighthouses.

Mix and match colors. No matter which size you choose, you’ll love mixing and matching your choice of primary (base) and secondary (head) colors from our expansive color palette. The top half of the base is always painted white. The model that is usually in stock has a base that is red at the bottom, then white, and a black head. The other colors may have a 3-6 week wait.
