Standard Lighthouses

Bring the mystery and romance of the sea to your favorite indoor or outdoor setting with a traditional handcrafted solid wood — and operational — lighthouse. They are made of hardy T1-11 wood specially designed for the outdoors.The trim is arsenic-free pressure treated pine.

Solar Panels.Don’t want power cords in your yard? Then add a solar panel and let the sun power your beacon instead. Solar panels are available for the 4’ and 5’ models and with all options except the rotating head which is powered with a separate cord. The 4-bulb LED solar light is bright enough to light up a pathway and lasts through the night.

The colors that are usually in stock for immediate delivery are: completely stained, stain with white trim, white with black trim, gray with white trim, cape cod gray with white trim, belmont blue with white trim, hunter green with white trim, navy blue with white trim, red (dark red) with white trim. All other colors are ready in 4-6 weeks.

Options available include:

Light bulb beacons. All models are equipped with a three foot cord to power the beacon day and night. All models, except the five-foot size, come with a non-blinking candle bulb. If you prefer a twinkle, add an optional blinker bulb. The five-foot model is equipped with a 40-watt bulb (wattage recommended by manufacturer). All bulbs are standard, so they’re easy to replace when it’s time.

Rotating head. For more fun, add an optional rotating head, available for four and five foot models. This feature continually spins the beacon 360 degrees for a true representation of an operational lighthouse. The rotating head is powered by a three foot cord that comes ready to plug in; it does not take power from a solar panel and is therefore not available along with the solar panel option.

Auto-light sensor. Our five foot model comes standard with an auto-light sensor that turns the beacon on at dusk and off at sunrise. Easy to remove, too, so you can let your light shine all day long, if you’d like.

Mix and match colors. No matter which size you choose, you’ll love mixing and matching your choice of primary (body) and secondary (trim) colors from our expansive color palette. The colors that are usually in stock are: belmont blue with white trim, cape cod gray with white trim, red with white trim,stain with white trim, navy blue with white trim, gray with white trim,white with black trim, hunter green with white trim, hunter green with beige trim, and totally stained. Any other color combinations might have a 4-6 week wait.
