Please note that this item is too large for UPS or FedEx? and will be delivered by common carrier motor freight, such as Roadway or Conway. When furniture is delivered by truck freight, the shipper will be in touch with you to arrange a date and time for delivery. It will be your responsibility to move the piece from the rear of the truck. Therefore, you will need to make accommodations to have someone on hand to assist the driver with unloading. Most drivers are nice and, for a small gratuity, will help with the unloading. The driver can open the pallet on the truck so that the pieces can be taken off individually which will be much more manageable. Please note that the driver is an employee of the trucking company, not of Cabinfield. If you would like lift gate service so that the furniture will be lowered to the ground with a lift gate and deposited on the curb, it is available for an extra fee (usually about $60). Please call us if you desire this service. Even with lift gate service however, the driver may leave once the shipment is off the truck and is not required to assist you in bringing the item into your home. It is important that you inspect the item at the time of delivery, and if the item has any damage, or there is any reason for you to be concerned about damage, please write "Product Damaged" clearly on the delivery receipt you are asked to sign and then call us. If you have any additional questions concerning shipment of your order, please call us at 866-450-9663 (WOOD).
